MRT Route

There are a couple of MRT services at Taoyuan Airport:

Express Train

The Express Train (purple) stands for a fast train to Taipei stopping at some stations, finishing its route at Taipei Main Station.
Express Train time to Taipei: 39 minutes.

Commuter Train

Commuter Train (blue) is a slower service which stops at all stations, finishing its route at Taipei Main Station.
Commuter Train time to Taipei: 53 minutes.

Opening hours

To Taipei Main Station: From 05:59 am to 10:58 pm.
To Taoyuan Airport: From 06:07 am to 11:37 pm.

Each service has a 7-minute frequency until 00:00 am.

Fares

Single ticket from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei Main Station is NT$ 160.

Ticket must be paid by cash at both ticket machine or booth.

On the other hand, it is also possible to pay by Easycard or iPass.
